Reactivate your GENIUS, Today

Are you feeling stuck in your business or personal life? Do you find yourself struggling to come up with new ideas or solutions? It’s time to reactivate your genius, and your inner child! That’s right, you have a genius inside of you waiting to be unleashed. According to NASA research as a child, you were a creative genius. But as an adult, that creativity was stifled by society’s emphasis on convergent thinking.

Convergent thinking is the logical method of finding solutions within a set of known information. This type of thinking is essential for problem-solving, but it can also limit your imagination and ability to dream up new possibilities. As a result, many adults struggle to tap into their inner genius and come up with fresh solutions.

For example, when I was young I wanted to fly. So I dreamed up an idea where I strapped a chair to a huge number of helium balloons. Obviously, this was impractical- but also ingenious. And many years later it became a very successful movie.

No adult wanted to see my spirit crushed. So, they explained how it was impossible. But what if I had been allowed to explore a bit further?

What if you could tap into that part of your brain capable of imagining new possibilities? Fresh solutions?

How to Reactivate Your Genius

Good news! There are ways to reignite your genius and tap into your creative potential. But it takes intentionally allowing those neuro pathways to be strengthened again! Here are a few tips to get you started:

  1. Set aside your inner critic and let your brain run wild. Think of a problem you’d like to solve and allow yourself to dream up as many possibilities as you can. The key is to not shut off the flow of ideas with criticism or logical thinking. Let your imagination run wild!
  2. Use active visualization techniques. Imagine what you want your life to be like and how you want it to feel. Visualize yourself achieving your goals and living your dream life. This can help you tap into your subconscious mind and unlock new ideas and solutions.
  3. Spend time in play. Laugh, explore, and have fun with no goal in mind. Be silly and let yourself be free. Kids are great at this, so if you don’t have any of your own, borrow a few and let them lead the way.

These tips are useful for personal growth, but they can also be applied in business. As a leader or business owner, it’s important to tap into your creativity and think outside the box. Don’t limit yourself to what’s already been done or what’s considered “normal.” Take time to allow your brain to roam freely and you’ll be surprised at what new ideas and solutions you can come up with.

In conclusion, it’s time to reactivate your inner genius! Don’t let convergent thinking stifle your creativity and limit your potential. Use the tips above to tap into your inner child and let your imagination run wild. Remember, strategy is the easy part – it’s tapping into your creativity that’s the real challenge. So go ahead and unleash your inner genius today!
